Training Days

This whole weekend I am spending my time on company's 3-days-training, from 9am to 6 pm, yesterday the class ended at 8:15pm some more, on Saturday! Very "Sien" (boring) man! Tomorrow (Monday) is the final day of our training, I think I will have to go to company very early, cuz will have to take care some stuff before heading to Crown Princess Hotel. Everybody will be "rewarded" by company dinner on Monday night.

I enjoy going to work.

I just told a friend of mine just now that I finally started to enjoy going to work during weekdays, it keeps me busy and no time to think of other things, no matter it is something happy or sad, I hope my boss can send me out to other countries when he come back. It has been quite some time I stopped playing computer games since my hard drive malfunctioned, so I can only work for my life away, at least my work stress is not high as it used to be. The comment that my friend gave it to me is, "UNHEALTHY!". What's wrong if I enjoy my work? :)

God damn sugar daddy!

On the table that we sat during the charity dinner, there were a "odd couple", the man was like forty something, and the girl was like 20-25 years old, I think she can be his daughter already. Initially, we thought they were father and daughter, later on, we found out they acted more like a couple than a father and daughter. My sister-in-law "asked" me secretly are they father and daughter by using her cell phone, I took her cell phone and re-enter a new sentence, "The guy looks like a sugar daddy to me!" In case you are curious to know... Yes, the girl is good looking, might be studying in oversea because I heard she said that her vacation will be until March. As for the guy, big tummy, a bit dark, wear a glass that strengthened its' pervert looks. Perhaps this sugar daddy is "sponsoring" her future study. Reminds me the word of "援交" in Chinese, which I learnt it from the tour guide during my Taiwan tour, or 援助交际, where the girl gets what she needs by providing what she got, and the guy also help on providing what the girl needs, in return gets what he is looking for. Bah! What a chaotic society, god damn you, sugar daddy! Really look down of them, I didn't even want to say goodbye when I left the table. May be some of you might say, "Oh... may be they are really in love with each other leh?" If one day I am holding a 92 y/o grandma's hand and said that I am so so in-love with her when I am only 29, what will you guys think? You believe me?

Baptist Church fund raising dinner

Last night my sister-in-law invited me to join her and my brother to a baptist church fund raising dinner at Time Square Hotel. At first I thought it was a regular dinner, I ganied my interest when my sister-in-law said that the charity dinner organizer has invited Singapore's Jim Carey, Mr. "Phua Chu Kang" and another well-knowed young female Malaysian violinist to perform during the dinner. Ended up I did not regret attending the dinner, because the performance was quite entertaining. The funny part is, since I don't know it was some kind of religious dinner, before the meal starts, everybody closed their eyes and began to pray, as three of us were looking to each other, due to we were non-Christian. Besides these two well-knowned performer, there were also auctions and choir singing performance.

Chinese New Year

Perhaps is because I missed out a lot of Chinese New Year celebration while I was in US. Everytime I felt that CNY is not as fun and happy like I used to have it when I was a little kid. I still remember when I was a little kid, when CNY is very close, my dad used to scolded us for being "lazy" or doesn't help out on preparing the celebration, he used to command us to do this and that, for example, hang some decorative stuff, etc... Despite the scolding, I still enjoy having CNY because I can get "ang pows" (red packets) and have a long holiday from school. Besides, I can also play firecrackers and listen to those loud firecracker bang around the neighborhood. Those are the time that we actually feel the atmosphere of CNY.
But right now, things are a bit quiet... What I do is just eat and sleep...
These few days the weather is damn hot, around the 90s in farenheit...

Two hours lunch

Today I had a two hours lunch with my Chinese colleagues, I am the only Malaysian there because the rest of my colleagues were on vacation, and the other one was on business trip. We found out that a lot of Chinese restaurant were closed during lunch time. Finally we ended up on a Mongolian restaurant which is opposite of Pudu jail.
The dishes was quite good, I love the appetizer, dumpling, lamb thigh, fried potatoes. Had Qing Dao Beer and coconut drink. I guess the restaurant is owned by Mainland Chinese, because the waitress is from Mainland and another lady who looks like boss also speak Mainland accent mandarin too. I was quite full after the lunch, makes me feel so sleepy after get back to the office at 4pm. The total bill is about RM371+ for six persons, the bill will be bear by our department, isn't that great? :p

The middle guy is Kee Ping who came back from Munich, Germany for his three weeks vacation, left: Simone, right: Rachel. I went to join up with them after work for a drink, just to take a look on this old uni friend. :) Posted by Hello

Now, here is the interesting part, look at the sink inside the WC, me and my colleagues have been discussing about what is the use of designing that particular sink inside this narrow WC. A person said that you can spit into the sink while you are doing your business, some people said you can wash your leg, I said that certain people can wash their hand and ass with the water supply, etc... Until now, the sink remain as a "mystery" that nobody knows what is the real purpose to have that. Posted by Hello

Sample pic of Male rest room in the office, not very big though, that is why it has to be clean twice a day due to heavy usage. Posted by Hello

60% of the employees from Asia Pacific devision sat on these cubicles. Posted by Hello

Took a sample of how the cubicle looks like in my office, due to a lot of people travel quite extensively, a lot of new comers such as me doesn't have a fix seat. Like others, I am the "drifter" in the office. Posted by Hello

My room which is still under construction, quite messy at this moment, I am going to put a king size bed so that if my friends want to spend a night here, at least the bed can fit three people, plus I also hate it when the pillows fall onto the floor during sleeping. At last... I am going to get my own bed. :) Frankly speaking, I am not satisfy with the colors of the wall, it makes the room looks dark, I use ICI cloudless sky for the blue color and Nippon sunrise blue which turns out to be light green. I actually prefer very light blue. Besides, the floor color also look too dark to me, it make things even worse. But what to do? I don't want to repaint it again. Play the song.. "Let it be" :(Posted by Hello

Almost got into a car accident

Today I went to Klang to meet up with friends for lunch, while on the way to lunch, I drove like 60-70km/h on a straight road, while I was talking to my friend, i didn't see the traffic light at the side of the street, saw one car followed by the other turning to the right, I was so mad at first because I thought the car did not follow the traffic rule, but in fact it was my mistake. I try to break and obviously it is too late to break, ended up I have too make a honk and lucky the second driver slow down a bit and I was able to swift pass between these two cars in split second.
I felt so bad about it because I scared my friends in the car... :( Fortunately, everybody was safe, really makes me to consider that I should get an automatic instead of manual. My driving skill really sucks nowadays.
