"Thanksgiving Dinner" organized by the DAP

Hannah Yeoh (hannahyeoh.blogspot.com), there is an imperfection of this pic, my belt went offward a bit due to the place is too crowded when I try to get in and out from my table. Anyway, I had the photo touch up a bit with my paintbrush. :)
Hannah Yeoh giving her speech on the stage.

The traffic is really jammed up today, I left office around 6:30pm and only manage to reach my home at 8pm. I put my backpack on the sofa and quicky ran to bathroom to take a leak. After that, I rush to the DAP Thanksgiving dinner which is scheduled to start at 8pm.

I reached there around 9pm, the whole "Pantai Seafood Restaurant" was like fully booked by the DAP today. I have a hard time locating any parking spaces. Anyway, when I reached there, a kind lady just locate me to a table, I manage to sit down and luckily the meal has not started yet. Sitting on the left side of me is a young DAP member who offered his help to hand out flyers before election day; on my right side is a guy which looks very familar, later on I found out that he is one of the bosses of a hardware store near my neightborhood. The whole table are basically guys from 70 to 25 who love to chat with politics.

The dinner ended around 11pm, get to meet up with some Assembly woman and "Yang Berhormat" (The respected), I approached Lau Weng San after the dinner and offered my humble service to him as promised. I hand over him my card and tell him I would like to serve him, I told him that he doesn't have to offer me a City Council post or what (but if he did, I don't mind too, cuz it will be Rm500 per month on allowance to attend meeting twice a week. :)), I told him that I am just offering my help to him if he need me, I hope I can participate in helping the developement of the city and I am willing to do it for free, I will be honored if he is taking me as one of his "think tank" members. I am sending him my resume after this.

I love to read story like "The Water Margin", people like me will stand up as one of the 108 bandit heroes if there is any injustice in the society.

Davidoff's Coolwater

I got a few collection of fragrance with me:
1. Davidoff Coolwater 75ml(A Chinese girl helped me bought this fragrance 10 yrs ago, while I was working as a Waiter with some Mainland Chinese colleagues in Madison, Wisconsin.)
2. Gucci Envy (a sample which my friend gave it to me after I give him a NIKE T-shirt as a gift)
3. Christian Dior Farenheit (I like the smell sample which I got it from a magazine)
4. CK Truth (A gift set together with a deodorant from US colleagues when I plan to move back to Malaysia. I sold it to my bro-in-law last year because I don't like the smell)
5. A newly bought Montblanc Skywalker (heard it is a new release last year and I love the smell)

Well, after ten years of usage, I finally manage to finish the 75ml Coolwater which I bought 10 yrs ago. Someone might be curious to know if the smell is still there. Well, I can tell you the answer is positive! Now I look forward to finish of the rest of my collection. Farenheit will be next! I start to remind myself to apply some fragrance everyday before I go to work or else I won't be able to finish them, this will leads to - "I can't buy new "smell"!"

The reason that I want to put up this post is because a friend of mine text me last night and commented that my fragrance smells great. She want to know if is a Polo I am wearing. Well, I told her it is a CD Farenheit. (Never bought any Polo fragrance before) ;). For the guys out there who is reading this post, may be you can check out this fragrance, who knows your gf/ex-gf/wife/ex wife/mistress/ex-mistress/sisters/mother, etc. will like it. I was wondering the CD fragrance I got is already 8-9 years old, perhaps it is not the smell because the smell could have changed a bit after such a long time, may be it is my natural "Pheromones" that she smells. Just kidding...:)

A DAP polling agent

I signed up my name as a DAP polling agent (opposition party) voluntarily when I attended their "Ceramah" few days ago. Well, you see, if you work for the Opposition Party, it "sucks", because you don't get pay, BN pay me RM50 for petrol by sending people to the polling area four years ago, I greatly accepted the task, I don't have much care on Politics that time. This time, I do it for DAP, FOC! I even donate some money to them so they can fund the election. Sadly speaking, our Opposition party relies very much on donation when it comes to election, they are not like the BN political party, who can give away "red packets", free dinner, freebies at our own expenses - Tax money.
Well, as a polling agent, I get to participate in the historical moment, I was on the spot with a BN agent, who get pays like Rm100-200, we have to sit there and look at people doing the counting on votes. I tell you, the feeling is like watching those movies like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", my heart pounded everytime they say out "BN", I get some relief if is a "DAP" vote. When four tickets were "BN", my heart pound harder and faster. This is how it feels when you are a polling agent. Also, if you feel that the ticket should belongs to DAP, you have the right to say "Objection", so that you can argue with the BN agent whether the ticket should be counted as your own Party's ticket. Luckily, the room that I went only have 243 votes, the result of the votes for Parliment and States, DAP is on the lead with 12x and 11x, 10-20% lead, it is still not save yet because it is not a big margin win, but I see a new hope when other rooms came out with good news. The DAP won the Parliment seats in big majority and my neighborhood will take over by Tony Phua and his members.

A New Hope for the People of Malaysia

Since when our country has become so screw up by the UMNO-led government - BN? We have even more-than-ever-open-corruption cases everyday, and the big fish never get caught, even if is caught, they will be release due to insufficient evidence; we have a Chief Justice that can be bribed, ladies and girls are very afraid of being one of the rape victim, then we have high inflation in the country, the low income earners suffer badly, and much more. But still, these robbers barons keep on exploiting our nation's wealth to fat their own pockets. Sad to say, this has become even worse when our Pak Lah, who is always sleepy, took over the country.
Well, this time, the wind has changed, the silence majority has awaken... while our BN keep on harping what they have achieved in the past 40 years, there is a wave of Tsunami, forming in nowhere, and this time, it really hits the arrogant BN big time. They have lost 5 states which include Selangor, which is one of the most critical to them. This is because there are a lot of $$$ opportunity in Selangor, we have Port Klang, we have large amount of tax payers, we have a lot of "on going" projects, waiting to be approved, etc. And unfortunately, the state of Selangor has lost to the opposition. I am so glad that Tony Phua, our State rep has won. I told my mom that I am going to serve under him for the sake of the people in Selangor if he is elected. Fortunately, he did.
Today, I woke up with a smiley face and I almost cry when I saw the news that the Opposition hits BN badly this time, seeing that BN has lost their 2/3 majority. And I am sure that most of the people are very happy that they had slapped BN hard on his face. I said to myself, if BN still make a big win this time, I have plans for migration, but luckily, today March 8th, we see a new hope for the people of Malaysia. My friend told me that he feel like staying in a new country already, as a regular Tom, Dick and Harry, who else doesn't feel the same? :)
