I find this comment from Ibrahim Ali, a right wing extremist racist pig comments very hillarious.
And the even more funny guy in the forum replied with:
"you eat shit, you eat shit, i repeat............ YOU EAT SHIT". LOL!

Nightmare at Fairy Park

This is the most horrible traffic jam that I ever experienced for the entire year. Yesterday we went for 'tomb sweeping' at Fairy Park located at Klang, caught in a jam that I find it unbelievable. Imagine my car was stucked there for 3 hours, still, we haven't arrive at the cemetery. It take us another 15 minutes to walk to the entrance carrying with all the stuff like fruits, paper chest, rice and jot sticks.
Those stalls that sell water were in very good business, if you want to go to toilet, good luck to you as the car doesn't move. Supposingly the distance is only 2km, but we stucked there for 3 hrs, totally unbelieavable. Everybody got real mad during the jam and some buggers who get impatient drive to the other lane and it make the jam even worse because the car from opposite direction cannot leave. There are quite a few people actually U-Turn and head home. We finished all our water supply inside the car. A handful of cars broke down and ran out of petrol during the wait. Luckily I have my tank topped up in full the night before. There goes with all my pricier RON97 fuel. ^#&@*&%#!

After finishing all the praying, it is around 5pm something. Look at all the burnt ashes. Some people are really crazy, they brought paper made treasure chests, 'gold papers', "LW" handbags, "Massage chair" and stuff for burning.
I told my mom just buy something like a 'starter kit' will do, don't buy too many stuff because burning these things will only create pollution to the air. I told my mom and my friend that if I ever die, just burn me a starter kit because I will need some 'capital' to start a new life down there, after that, don't have to burn anything. It is just waste of money and it pollutes the air. I almost want to wear gas mask when I enter the 'Taoist God's Reception Area', because the air is full of the smoke coming out from all the jot sticks...

I-City

I took all these photos with my camera phone, something special in i-City. Heard that the developer of i-City, somewhere far from the city, is trying to catch some attention from the public. So they put up all these LEDs and made some fake trees, which are actually some posts and decorated it with LED bulbs. I would say it is something new for my visual experience. Quite a lot of people went there to take photos and check out the colorfully lighted trees.

BB and HSBB in Malaysia

I saw this comic in Star paper that suits our situation in Malaysia perfectly, when Telekom Malaysia launches their so called 'High Speed Broadband'. What I am getting is the snail on the left side. The snail on the right seems to be more heavily equipped to prepare for F1. Hahhaah.

It takes me 2-3 minutes to upload this 584k photo!

Gran Mahakam Hotel at Jakarta

The lobby to hotel room, actually the view and lighting is quite nice, just that I can't take a good shot with it with my camera, should have change it to night shot mode.
They don't have a queen or king size bed, ended up I have to sleep on one of these, the bed is really small, I can't move much at all, to make thing worse, the bed is ultra soft. I think I will move to Mulia Hotel (if I got a chance to revisit Jakarta)- it was claimed the safest hotel at all time.

The bathroom

The building looks pretty old in architectural, but it was ok inside. Didn't take much photos as I arrived very late that night, also have very limited time in Jakarta though I was my first time stepping foot on Indonesia.

Holiday Inn Galleria Manila

After 5 years, yeah, I am back to Manila for a short business trip. Share the photos I took inside this 4 stars hotel room. To me it is very nice and the room is huge, located at 26th floor. My only complain is the bed is way too soft, it is really due for replacement.
Evening sunlight...

Manila.

The room is located at the corner of the building, so I got two different city views.

Detained-At-Immigration Scam

Last night I was reading Kenny's blog about his friend being cheated, check this out, you might want to read it if you rarely read newspaper.
http://www.kennysia.com/archives/2010/03/the-detained-at.php

To be honest, I don't feel pity at all towards her friend. This is because she deserves that for being so damn stupid! RM2k is just a Get-Smarter-Course for her, or else she could have lost even more. Sometimes it is not about trusting a person, but then you need to think with your brain instead of your butt. First of all, Kenny's friend from UK claimed that he brought too much money to Malaysia without making any declaration, so the custom detained him and he need Rm7k to hire a lawyer. Aren't she suppose to ask why the hell he bring so much money to Malaysia? Is he doing some fishy business here? Drug trafficking? Money laundering? Even for Investment Opportunities, do you actually just pay cash like that? Also, for a person who knows how to invest in oversea, I am sure he/she got the common sense that you don't bring large amount of cash to other country. Apparently, one of the local politicians once told the Australia custom that he don't know about this law and also pretend that he don't know English at all when he was detained at the airport with lots of cash.
I don't know la, but I won't be that stupid to withdraw 2K out from my account to help out a detained at immigration hot Russian chick that I knew from Internet for 6 months. Be it RM200 or even RM20!

I have once read a news that says Malaysians can be conned easily, RM80 million lost EVERY YEAR to all kinds of con jobs, you even see businessman paid more than hundred thousand for some magic stones or crystal. No doubt some are really skillful that after you shipped the goods to them, your so called 'Customer' just disappear, I won't blame them for being stupid on this one as sometimes business is about trust. But for this kind of scam? I think the victims are just too plain stupid and naive. Probably the dumb chick thought she get to know some hot guy that looks like a member from West Life. That is the reason why I always advised my friend to read newspaper if they could, even though you don't have time to read a book, please don't tell me 'No time' kind of bull crap, I believe you can find some time for sure. Of course I am not referring to entertainment or sport section on the newspaper, even Internet news sometimes don't feed you these kind of information about daily life, you don't find it in your text book. Books give you knowledge, but newspaper sometimes makes you a smarter person, because you get to learn the dirty tricks from the crooks. If you ain't smart, then you need to be knowledgeable at least by starting to read some papers. If you neither have both, and worst still, you are GREEDY! Then I wish you good luck, hope you are not targetted by other crooks.
One thing I need to point out, whatever we read from newspaper, we still have to use our brain and think, especially we are living in a country with controlled media. Don't just eat whatever people feed to you.

Ah Long Pte Ltd

I saw a very interesting sign board tied up to the road sign near my house, the road sign reads: "Kami bukan Ah Long, Kami cuma nak Tolong! 012xxxxxxx" Wow! In Malay, it means: - "We are not Ah Long (Loan Sharks), we just want to HELP! 012xxxxxxx"

Hmmm... I was wondering do they get the inspiration from the Singaporean movie, 'Ah Long Pte. Ltd.", or one of the 'Board of Directors' in Ah Long Pte. Ltd. enrolled in MBA courses and came out with this idea. Do you feel their 'sincerity'? Imagine you are in financial deep shit, you have no choice but to call up the 'Licensed Money lender", okay, the word "Licensed" is a bit tricky here; I doubt they mean you just pay a small amount of secretarial fees and registered a company, and you claimed yourself 'licensed'? You trained a few assasins or thugs and you can also get it 'licensed' in such a case.
Ok, back to the scenario that you called Ah Long for help, just imagine this, how Ah Long became more professional and commercialized than before...

Let say I am a 'Account Manager' from Ah Long Pte. Ltd. I got your call (24/7 on-call service), you wipped on the phone and you 'share' with me about your problems (willing to listen skill). I spent at least half an hour listening to your problem (understanding customer's requirement) so you can feel better after shooting out your hardship. I told you to calm down, and set up the meeting time for you (Set up appointment). When I sees you, you continue to cry, I put my left hand on my heart and my right hand on your heart and tell you 'I feel you bro/gurl"(to shows concern and caring), or if this is ain't enough, I even lend you a should to cry on like what Tommy Page was singing back then.

After that, I need to explain to you that you have to solve this urgently (creating a sense of urgency for client), I did a analyze of the situation for you, the risk and explain to you that you need X amount of money to solve your problem. (Business Analyst + Consultation) Then I propose you a 'Financial plan' (End to End solution or 'One-Dragon-Service'), did a simple mathematic calculation and propose it to you. Then, I helped you fill up the paperwork, takes some photos of you, your ATM card, your password, your IC, wa la... it is all DONE! (Some basics on A-B-C, mathematics and photography skill will do).

Once document is signed (Contract handshake).Check is ready for pick up or we even hand deliver it to you in not more than 48 hours depends on your urgency (Free door-to-door services), if you got a very good looking over 18 but less than 21 y/o daughter, you might get yourself a instant approval! Well, I think that is much of Ah Long's standard operating procedure I guess. Can you see how 'professional' an Ah Long company can be? I think from time to time, they have 'evolved', they started to think of 'Marketing Positioning'. Their name was so bad and the local newspaper gave them a very bad impression. So they have to 'rebrand' themselves, more like a partner that they can solve your problem, offer you a extra cash to roll when you really needed help.

Anyway, I am quite pissed off with them when they hang up all those signs in my neighborhood, sometimes they even nailed it on trees. There is one night I actually bring a knife out and have all the signs cut off from the road signs, cuz it really annoys me!

Last night in Jakarta

I have not been actively blogging recently, because I was kinda busy. I am now in Jakarta after spending 2 nights in Philippines.
Kinda regret that I ate too much just now, ate a plate of cod fish meal and a plate of spaghetti. This is because the cod fish meal only brought me to 60% full and I still feel a little bit hungry. Perhaps is because I am going back tomorrow and I have relived my stress.

Product Review: Panasonic Inverter Air-Con 1.5HP Review

Well guys, you know I am quite a 'environmental friendly' person, so when Panasonic came out with their Inverter product which they claimed it can cut down 50% of energy consumption, even though it was 20%-25% more expensive than the regular air-con, still I go ahead and give it a try. I think it is a good investment in long run even the installation and maintenance cost slightly higher. I actually bought 1 unit for my room and then another unit for my mother's room a year later.

Ok, after 18 months, the problem start to occur on the air-con inside my room. The air-con blower blow for 2-5 minutes, then it suddenly stops! With the red light blinking on 'Timer'. Ok, please don't insult my intelligence thinking that I don't know how to play with the remote and what is the use of 'Timer' on the remote. What I do it, I will totally switched off the power and give the air-con a reboot. If I am lucky, it is okay after not more than 5 times trial.

I complained to Panasonic dealer that this air-con definitely have some problem, instead of sending real technician, they sent in someone to wash and clean my aircon. I have serviced my air-con 2-3 times since I bought it. Ok, recently, it happen to my mother's room aircon (about 2 yrs old), the aircon is not cold at all, now she had to moved into another room then only she could sleep, a air-con that doesn't release cold air is like a junk already. Seriously, I don't think it is out of gas so fast. Another room was using 18 months old York air-con, it was never serviced but it still runs great and quite cooling.

Then today when I talked about this in front of my colleague, another colleague complained the same that his Panasonic Inverter air-con; after 2 yrs, the air-con suddenly lost its' 'cool', the technician told him the circuit board got problem and it cost him RM600-700 to fix it! I told my friend might as well he buy a new unit. At least you save one round of maintenance and you get full tank of gas with brand new hose. Another colleague then started to complain about his Panasonic fridge that is not very cold. I think something is wrong with Panasonic's quality!

Don't say I didn't warn you if you want to buy a Panasonic Inverter Air Con! I think I will try out the Daikin Inverter if I want to save energy, really lost my confidence on them! I think I have to write a complain email to Panasonic Malaysia!

Note: The above picture is not the actual model, the one I go it white color with green lining.
