Hannah Yeoh (hannahyeoh.blogspot.com), there is an imperfection of this pic, my belt went offward a bit due to the place is too crowded when I try to get in and out from my table. Anyway, I had the photo touch up a bit with my paintbrush. :)
Hannah Yeoh giving her speech on the stage. The traffic is really jammed up today, I left office around 6:30pm and only manage to reach my home at 8pm. I put my backpack on the sofa and quicky ran to bathroom to take a leak. After that, I rush to the DAP Thanksgiving dinner which is scheduled to start at 8pm.
I reached there around 9pm, the whole "Pantai Seafood Restaurant" was like fully booked by the DAP today. I have a hard time locating any parking spaces. Anyway, when I reached there, a kind lady just locate me to a table, I manage to sit down and luckily the meal has not started yet. Sitting on the left side of me is a young DAP member who offered his help to hand out flyers before election day; on my right side is a guy which looks very familar, later on I found out that he is one of the bosses of a hardware store near my neightborhood. The whole table are basically guys from 70 to 25 who love to chat with politics.
The dinner ended around 11pm, get to meet up with some Assembly woman and "Yang Berhormat" (The respected), I approached Lau Weng San after the dinner and offered my humble service to him as promised. I hand over him my card and tell him I would like to serve him, I told him that he doesn't have to offer me a City Council post or what (but if he did, I don't mind too, cuz it will be Rm500 per month on allowance to attend meeting twice a week. :)), I told him that I am just offering my help to him if he need me, I hope I can participate in helping the developement of the city and I am willing to do it for free, I will be honored if he is taking me as one of his "think tank" members. I am sending him my resume after this.
I love to read story like "The Water Margin", people like me will stand up as one of the 108 bandit heroes if there is any injustice in the society.
