Traffic ticket

This afternoon I was coming from KL side LDP, plan to go to Giant Supermarket, unfortunately, I have accidentally went to the wrong lane without knowing it. There were three police officers set up their ambush in front of me, one of them wave on me and ask me to pull over... so I pulled over my car, knowing that I am screwed this time...
(below conversation translated from Bahasa to English)
Me: Good afternoon Sir.
P: Good afternoon.
Me: Sorry officer, can you tell me what is my violation?
P: Sir, You shouldn't go straight with the lane that you are driving.
Me: Sorry sir, I really don't know that I should have turn right, because the road in front of me seems quite big for two cars to go through. I thought I am on the lane which you can either go straight or go right, that's why I even honk the car who is trying to turn right from my left hand side. So sorry, I don't purposely do that, please give me a chance.
(At the same time, I volunteer to take out my driving license)
P: (Look at my license) Can I have your ID too?
Me: Here (give him my ID). Hi Officer, may I know how much it cost for the ticket for such violation?
P: (copy down my details on a piece of paper instead of ticket)
Well, it will be RM150. Can you pay it within 2 months?
Me: If I pay early, do I get any discount on that?
P: Well, you see, this is not...(before he finished)
Me: Oh yeah... I know, the government set the rates, not you...
P: Yup.. (He grinned)
Me: (Sigh) I just manage to collect my bad debt from my friend (which is true) for RM150 this morning, and now I am using it to pay the fine...(Gave him those "I can't believe it kind-of-look) (*$&$^@!, I said it inside my heart).
P: Oh... So what kind of work you are doing.
Me: Taking "orders" and stuff like that...(my job title, not the stuff I do though :))
P: So when you plan to pay the fine? Should I put 1 or 2 months?
Me: Err... I am not sure, I will do it "As soon as possible"( I don't know how to say that in Bahasa).
P: How about one month?
Me: Should be ok, excuse me sir, do you think I can pay the fine via postal service?
P: Off course cannot.
Me: Then how about if I ask someone to help me, do I really have to pay the fine myself? Where is the place that I can pay my fine?
P: You can pay it in xxx..... oh god, you never receive any ticket before?
Me: No sir, my record is clean, I never do speeding, or other violations....
P: Oh no, then if I submit this, they will deduct 10 points from you. (hmmm... is it a threat or what? He want me to slide a RM50 note to him? No! I am not going to do that!)
Me: Oh...What to do? Guess I have no choice(pretend stupid and doesn't understand what he means, not sure if he is leading me to pay him some bribe or what, but inside my heart, no matter what, I rather pay RM150 then pay him RM50, I am not going to support bribery!)
(after a few second)
P: Ok bro, since you never violates anything before, this time I let you go, make sure you buy me a drink next time! Ok?
Me: So kind of you, thank you very much, for sure will buy you a drink, very sorry because I really don't know. Thank you!
(close my window and go...^^, neogotiation successful, RM150 saved! Phew...)
