My friend got a free ticket of 'I have a date with spring' the musical (我和春天有个约会音乐剧) from Raymong To, so I went to check out the show with her and another friend at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. To be honest, the show is much better than I thought! Part of the collection will be donated to Tzu-Chi International Relief for Myanmar. Sponsored by Live to Love (http://www.l2love.org/)I have heard about this movie long time ago but I never really watch it when I was young, so I have no idea at all with the storyline. The HK movie first realease was around 1994 if I am not mistaken based on the information from Wikipedia.
The story talks about the friendship of 4 singers who worked in the nightclub during the late 60s. I find it a bit like Asian version of 'Mama Mia'. :) Anyway, in short, Great show great storyline, I find the story quite touching too, the show is about two and half hours long hours. I think those with parents that are over 50 will love this! Will recommend it to my friends as well.
