Day 6 - Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) - V
This is the place where the ancient king used to stomp his chest while looking at the night sky when he missed her mom who had passed away...
What you see on the wall is a "Garuda", the mount of Vishnu God according to Hindu and Buddhist's mythology, it is also a national symbol of Thailand and Indonesia. The bird like creature feed on serpents and snakes.
Monks waiting for sunset.
We took a rest at this Angkor Cafe.
Some local kids trying to fish something off the stream.
